Back into society

Had alot of fun with the piece with a swallow . And finally a picture update from Sean...hahaha and he really nailed the Shark piece right on. It's been really hectic at the shop . I'm trying to clear as many appointments before i get busy with my new job next week . I'll still be taking appointments but will only be available at night. So peeps , please do me that favour by trying to make time in the evenings for your tattoos. Sean and Kelvin will be taking appointments as usual. Thanks to all that dropped by the shop , you guys give us more reason to keep this little shop of ours going. peace!

Lead me away to a place where nobody can stop us , to a place i have never been

Been spending days at the shop for the past month and it has been a bomb. For those who didn't know, we were really close to handing the shop over to someone else but terms didn't fall through and i'm really glad now it didn't. With the inclusion on Kelvin the shop now feels more complete cos we're finally functioning like a real business instead of like the how we did in the past where we just opened for appointments . So right now EMN Tattoos is opened daily after 2pm. But its still best to call first or drop us a text if you're too shy to hear our sexy voices . OUT!

We decided to do a collaboration piece on real trooper of a client. We took a simple line drawing of an hanya mask and worked our own style on each side of the mask. Took us a little over 4 hours and it was fun as hell.

Was very close in handing over the shop to someone else cos of work commitments but hell... don't think i wanna just throw everything that we've built and worked so hard for... So EMN tattoos are here to stay . To top it all of , there's a new addition to the crew, Kelvin " Monster " Chow . Hangovers suck i know. Leads you to ask yourself how something can taste so good yet hurt so bad. I've reclaimed the undisputed title of Insomniac once again. The eye bags are scary and don't know how much longer can i withstand this torment. As little as 2 hours sleep a day . Damn cable!

Decisions , decisions .

Being busy all the time really has it's perks. I'm the kind of person needs to stay busy or my financial insecurities will start bugging me. I'll start making comparisons with English footballers my age or younger than me. I'll start thinking whether i'm making full use of my time. I don't expect a million bucks a month like Rooney but have you ever questioned yourself whether you're financially at your full potential? The hunger for more as human beings is what keeps us striving for the best but at times can be somewhat demanding on your own capabilities to a certain extent. Being contented is a myth. Not for me at least.

I believe in the saying , "Everyone's got a price." Ever wondered what's your worth to yourself? I'll sign off by sharing this really cool story . A man walks over to a woman at the bar and asks," Would you sleep with me for ten million dollars ? " The lady replies yes . Then the man asks her another question , " Would you sleep with me for 10 dollars?" The woman replies angrily , " Of course NOT! What do you think i am? A Whore!?" Then the man replies ," We've already establish that fact, I was just trying to bargain the price."

Sit around and watch the tube but nothin's on...

Green Day was so freaking awesome. Trust me i've listened and watched countless cds and dvds of them in concert before and nothing can compare. The way Billie Joe worked the Sold-Out arena was amazing.Even inviting fans up the stage to even sing a song with them. The only two times i'm sure of money well spent is the time i bought my first tattoo machine and buying the tickets for the Green Day concert.Really awesome. Now i can die a happy man.

Happy New Year Pull Your Ear...

This year really kicked off to a good start. The shop has been busy as hell and had really awesome tattoos to ink. what more could you really ask for. It's New years day and i'm looking for someone to have a beer with and apparently all my friends are suffering from major hangovers... BORING!!!! As for me , i stayed completely sober last night ... amazing huh? thats why i gotta make it up to my liver for the absence of alcohol last night.

I like to thank all our loyal clients/friend for making EMN Tattoos successful. The Jesus Christ portrait on Elden really was a real pleasure to tattoo and too was the Skull piece on Georgie. Thanks guys for making my day.

Anyway , after last night though, I really have lost all faith in our Singapore Police Force, A major fight broke out at the pub next door involving close to 30-odd people. Chairs were flying , Flower pots were being thrown and the drunktard starting all the mayhem had his head smashed in with a sign board ( but i can't say that he didn't deserve it ) and where was the police in all this??? M.I.A.Took them bout 20 minutes to arrive. But get this , the CID head quarters is just a 10 minute WALK away. In the end , no one was arrested cos all the culprits fled . And left us with a big mess outside or pub to clear up after those immature hooligans . The middle-finger salute goes to our SPF and a triple middle-finger salute goes out to those drunkard asswipes . Next time if i'm in any distress , I rather swallow my whole phone then dial the useless "999"

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Christmas was fun as hell... Have to give it up to my aunt for throwing an amazing party at the pub . With emcee CK doing an amazing job. And not forgetting Jameson for the Mastercard dance. All i can says that you should have been there. If you were, you would understand. If you didn't , you missed a surprisingly good party at a simple pub. Who needs to head to the big clubs or beach parties? I'm not advertising but really was amazed at the amount of fun i had. And this coming from me , who has been celebrating his past 5 christmas at pubs working , really amazing. Can't wait for New Years. P.S. Singapore Idol is a joke. I really don't understand the kampong spirit thing. And they speak bad english and no help from gurmit singh who's also a joke as a host. BORING! I vote for the taufik! Huh? that was the first idol? is it? WHO CARES!

Another celebrity caught cheating on his wife...woah!! Mr "Lao Hu Mu" aka Tiger Woods. Hearing that news is like hearing someone telling me that the sky is blue. geez. Anyway i know its been awhile since i updated this blog. I would like to say that i've been busy working but i can't cos i haven't. Instead i've been blowing all my cash on booze and partying and i'm going broke man... Blame it on the al-al-al-al-al-al-alcohol. Sean's been reprimanding me for drinking too much too. but i can't help it... the smell of the beer,the knocking of glasses,the feeling you get after you gulp a mouthful of beer,the burping... hahaha... I speak of alochol with passion sia... But ok it's been a really busy week at the shop so had to stop the habit for a while, and last night i rewarded myself with a cocktail of vodkas,whiskys,brandy and of course beer. Think i'm still drunk...argh...
Did a really simple but cool piece for a mother of two autistic children.Its always nice to tattoo something with so much depth and meaning. Had a "Miami Ink" moment hahaha. And Jimmy came by yesterday and got to finally free hand a Bio-mech piece. something i've been craving for for awhile. But after 4hours in he looked like he just ran a marathon.LITERALLY. He was sweating like crazy. Really dripping and all.hahaha. ok have to head to work now. How come i haven't seen you come down to Yin's Place yet huh? Yes YOU! make sure you come support soon ah. OUT!
